Btrfs Rescue Images

With the rolling forward format change in 2.6.31, some users may accidentally install an older kernel and find themselves unable to read their Btrfs root filesystem. The Btrfs rescue images have enough tools to btrfsck, do common tasks, compile kernels and download patches.

They are based on the Arch live cd images, and include a 2.6.30 kernel patched with the new Btrfs disk format.

To install, just dd the image onto a usb stick and boot. You can download images for x86 and x86-64 from:
